The tournament is turning 18 and since we are all grown up we decided to change it up. We invite you to join us on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Breakers West for a golf spectacular on the Rees Jones course. This course is set within a 670-acre wildlife sanctuary so the surroundings will be as beautiful as your golf game. The real celebration starts with a bottomless brunch in the recently renovated ballroom overlooking the course you just conquered.

Your morning will begin with breakfast provided by Panera Bread while you warm up on the driving range, practice your short game on the putting green, or get stretch it out with our on-site chiropractor. You’ll want to make sure you’re ready to go because you’ll have the chance to win a Volvo XC90; the award-winning, all-new redesigned SUV from Volvo. This vehicle is a modern, square-jawed Swedish SUV which offers the newest and very latest in safety features. Its 2.0-liter four-cylinder uses turbo charging and supercharging to create 316 hp and drives all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic. There’s room for seven in the handsomely appointed interior, with deeply comfortable seats as well as Sensus, Volvo’s new infotainment system.

Once you tee off, be on the lookout for our shenanigans on the green including a Tito’s Vodka Bloody Mary bar, Spiked Iced “TEE,” and The “Beer” Trap. In addition to the libations The Rees Jones Course was recently reconstructed as one of the premier golf experiences in the southeast United States. The new course has been lengthened to more than 7,100 yards and changed into a par 72 layout. This course caters to every level of golfer and provides multiple options thanks to challenging water carries, varied pin positions and large landing areas from all tees.

Once you return from the greens, locker rooms will be available to freshen up before you head up to brunch. Get ready for two hours of made-to-order Belgian style waffles, country fried chicken with bourbon glaze, a carving station and all the staples of brunch you know and love. An unlimited-signature bar will be available for two hours following the tournament to toast to your day golf during the awards. Additional brunch tickets are available so bring a date to enjoy with you.

All proceeds from the Shamrock Classic benefit Quantum House, the area’s only hospital hospitality house dedicated to compassionately caring for families with critically ill children receiving medical treatment in Palm Beach County. Quantum House depends on golfers, supporters, and brunch lovers like YOU to keep the doors open. Every guest’s stay is subsidized and the suggested $35 a night fee to stay at the House is a donation basis only. No family is ever turned away due to an inability to pay.
2016 is sure to be a good year for Quantum House with the opportunity to help a greater number of families each year.
