Antiques: Focus on Glass
Glass is among the most widely collected of all antiques. Since ancient eras, the beauty of glass has drawn collectors and brought riches to those that created it. Novices and experts alike will benefit from this mind-opening look into the world of glass. Besides discussion, group participation and hands-on experience are some of the highlights of this lunch and learn. Each participant is invited to bring one item (it does not have to be glass) for a free appraisal.
Instructor: Vivian Highberg a former Antiques Roadshow appraiser has been a member of International Society of Appraisers for two decades. Before "semi-retiring" she dealt in a general line of antiques, collectibles, fine art, prints and upscale merchandise at the Hilding & Larson Gallery of Antiques and Decorative Arts.
