PNC Bank and the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches are pleased to announce the finalists for the 2014 Business Awards. These awards recognize Palm Beach County companies that lead with confidence, demonstrating a solid commitment to their business goals, their employees and their local community.
The Small Business Person of the Year finalists are: Gary S. Lesser, Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith, PLLC; Shanon Materio, McMow Art Glass, Inc. and Robert Kirschner, Passport Publication & Media Corp. This award is sponsored by PNC Bank.
The Business of the Year finalists are: Florida Crystals; Hedrick Brothers Construction Co. and Suffolk Construction Company Inc. This award is sponsored by The Palm Beach Post.
The Non-Profit of the Year/Arts & Culture finalists are: Palm Beach Opera; South Florida Science Center & Aquarium and The Society of the Four Arts.
The Non-Profit of the Year/Health & Human Services finalists are: Children’s Healthcare Charity, Inc., DBA The Honda Classic; Hanley Center and The Lord’s Place.
The Health/Science Professional of the Year finalists are: John D. Couris, Jupiter Medical Center; David Fitzpatrick, PhD, Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience and Dr. George Gurdock, Good Samaritan Medical Center.
The Diversity Award finalists are: Florida Power & Light and Gulfstream Goodwill Industries, Inc. This award is sponsored by Holland & Knight LLP.
The door prize at the event will be a pair of round-trip tickets from Southwest Airlines.
The Business Awards Breakfast will be held on Friday, May 30 at 7:45 a.m. at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. Early bird coffee service will begin at 7 a.m. and is sponsored by FordHarrison LLP.
Reservations may be canceled up to 3 days (72 hours) before the event. Reservations that are canceled prior to 3 days (72 hours) of an event will not be charged and any amounts paid will be refunded. Cancelations must be in writing, faxed to the Chamber Office (fax number 561- 833-5582) or e-mailed to kburke@palmbeaches.org
