Cuillo Centre for the Arts & Prodigy Productions, a cutting edge, multi-cultural company in co-production with the Cuillo Centre for the Arts, has established “Got Comedy?!” to be held at the Cuillo Centre for the Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida. A South Florida based invitation audition designed to find comedic talent. The four show series will feature stand-up comedians that will make you laugh while feeling right at home. The “Got Comedy?!”series allows Prodigy Productions talent and development teams to scout and develop new talent and acts, test different formats and screen content, while providing the local community the opportunity to be the judge. The performers will range from up-and-coming comedians to more established talent with shows staged on a monthly basis until the final performance on February 3, 2009. All shows will be filmed and a DVD will be made highlighting theprocess of production from beginning to end with hilarious bloopers along the way. The DVD will beavailable for future sale. There will be three audition styled events held in the cabaret theatrewhere the audience will determine who will be chosen based on a grading system. From the three cabaret performances, winners will be selected to join the more established comedians at the final performance on the main stage. The first cabaret show will be held on Thursday, November 20th at 7pm and will include the diverse sense of humor from comedians R-Jay, Jessica Gross, Super Fox, Maxwell and Lady “T”. Other cabaret show dates are Saturday, December 13th at 10pm and Friday, January 16th at 8pm. The main stage show will be held on Tuesday, February 3rd at 8pm. And should not be missed!!
