Panelists:
Estrella Parada - Founder of The Space Connect
Estrella Parada is the founder and CEO of Space Connect in West Palm Beach. Born in Spain, Estrella began her career in education, first as a teacher and later as a coach and Reading Recovery expert. After moving to Florida, she helped launch and manage Harrington Legal Alliance alongside her husband, while also venturing into real estate and business ownership.
In 2023, she fulfilled a longtime dream by opening Space Connect — a warm, bilingual coworking community designed to give entrepreneurs not only a place to work, but a place to connect, learn, and thrive. Her journey as an educator, legal office manager, real estate investor, and now coworking founder has given her a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities entrepreneurs face.
Erick Solms – President, Simplitfy
Erick’s journey in the world of IT began with a deep passion for technology and a drive to turn challenges into opportunities. Born and raised in Ecuador, he came to the U.S. as an international student with big dreams and humble beginnings. He earned a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Florida Atlantic University, secured a work visa, and proudly became a U.S. citizen.
Motivated by a mission to simplify and secure technology for small businesses, Erick founded Simplitfy in 2014 with the motto “Simple IT for You.” Simplitfy focuses on IT and cybersecurity services, helping protect businesses from the ever-growing threat of cybercrime. His entrepreneurial spirit didn’t stop there—he also launched First Class Coins, Nativus, and Stealth Leaders, proving his versatility across industries. Armed with a master’s degree in MIS from Nova Southeastern University, Erick brings true tech expertise to everything he touches.
Beyond business, Erick is deeply committed to giving back. He serves on the boards of the YMCA South Palm Beach County, HEI, and Spirit of Giving, and is a proud trustee of both the Palm Beach Chamber and the Boca Chamber. His community involvement reflects his belief in creating meaningful local impact.
When he’s not working, Erick is likely at a soccer match—especially cheering on Inter Miami. In 2023, he was honored as Inter Miami’s Fan of the Year, having attended every single home and away game and exploring over 20 cities along the way. A lover of sports, digital adventures, reading, and travel, Erick brings the heart of Ecuador wherever he goes.
