Race the Corporate Challenge and get your tricycling chops on for Opportunity's Kid's Race Across America!

YOU can help us break the cycle of poverty!  Become part of the Corporate Challenge and join us for the Kid's Race Across America event in Opportunity's parking lot on Friday, October 14, 2022. 

Kid’s RAAM was created by Opportunity in response to the cancellation of the 2020 Race Across America (RAAM). RAAM is one of the most respected and longest running ultra-endurance events in the world. RAAM is seen as a pinnacle of athletic achievement not only in cycling circles but the greater sporting community as well. For 36 years RAAM has been challenging ultracyclists from around the globe to push their physical and mental limits to the farthest reaches. Starting in Oceanside, under one of the longest piers in California, RAAM spans over 3000 miles, climbs 175,000 feet, crosses 12 states and finishes at City Dock in Annapolis, Maryland, the east coast sailing mecca.

This is our third year! Our children will race on their tricycles through a much smaller version of the path through the 12 states.  Our professional racing team, the Opportunists, worked with our teachers to create a lesson plan for the children to help them prepare for the relay race.  Companies will take to the trikes, showcase their tricycle racing chops and race to the finish line for the children of Opportunity!
