Join us Wednesday, April 9 for our monthly Silver Science Day!
Taking place on the second Wednesday of every month from 2-5pm guests 62 and older can enjoy an afternoon at the South Florida Science Center. Learn from guest presenters on various topics, view a planetarium show and interact with over 50 educational exhibits.
April's topic will be lead by Joseph Roskowski, discussing his experience designing and building underwater robots, EOD (Bomb Squad) robots, and fruit picking robots. Mr.

Roskowski will also share information and videos about the current state of the robotics industry,
and where we are heading. Joseph is an Electrical Engineer, and has designed and built Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) for Bluefin and DeepQuest, and worked on the TALON "bomb-squad" robot. He also helped develop robotic systems to commercially pick apples and oranges. He lives in West Palm Beach, and offers engineering consulting services in the robotic and battery industries.
Admission for seniors 62 and older is $7 and includes a free planetarium show at 3 or 4pm.
