The Spring Bunny hops into the hearts of every generation, and tens of thousands of children every year, while he makes his home in an enchanting garden at The Gardens Mall. With floppy ears, fluffy tail, twitching nose, and funny antics, he takes center stage for three weeks. On Saturday, March 20,Bunny arrives with specialty teas provided by Teavana in the Grand Court, for ticketed tea party at9a.m. Children dressed in Lilly Pulitzer fashions may visit the retailer for specials and join in afun egg hunt! Bunny’s garden home is adorned with a dazzlingnew Lilly theme for 2010. Made up of more than 2,000 fresh flowers, lush plants, hundreds of colorful dancing butterflies, and 4-foot tall, hand-painted eggs. “The bunny and his beautiful garden homeis a spring tradition that delights our shoppers, as well as our mall retailers,” said Michele Jacobs, the director of marketing and operations for The Forbes Company. “The Spring Bunny has visitedusfor twenty-two years. Our retailers and customers embrace the vibrant colors of spring. It liftsspirits and personifies good cheer.” Families may visit the Spring Bunny during mall hours from10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and from Noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
