“Up and Away” Children’s Concert

Description

Featuring the PBA Symphony, PBA Dance Ensemble and students in the University’s Preparatory Department. The concert will feature a variety of works to introduce children to the sights and sounds of the symphony orchestra followed by a dance performance outdoors. The symphony concert will featureBeckel's Waltz of the Animals and Rossini's Overture to the Thieving Magpie. The PBA Dance Ensemblewill perform a narrative dance inspired by the children's book Giraffes Can't Dance by Giles Andreae(author) and Guy Parker-Rees (illustrator). Co-sponsored by the Junior League of the Palm Beaches The event is free but complimentary tickets required.
