Jim Adkins is President of CEO Focus of Palm Beaches, LLC. He graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1981 and then went on to a long career in the Air Force as a leader, engineer, metallurgist, project/program manager, and acquisition officer. He retired from his government service in 1996. His first commercial endeavor was with General Motors/Delphi Packard-Electric and GM/Delphi Chassis as a Senior Buyer. Since 2002, Jim has gone on to successfully use his personal brand to lead, guide, improve and work in several industries including construction, lawn/termite service, fastener, automotive, electronics and jet engine businesses. He currently serves as a Trustee of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches.

A West Palm Beach native, Sarah Alsofrom is the Director of Community Relations for GL Homes.  Previously, she worked for Hanley Center Foundation, the State Attorney’s Office of Palm Beach County as the Public Information Officer; at the Gunster Law Firm as Director of Marketing & Public Relations; and at NBC’s WPTV Channel 5. Sarah holds a B.A. from the University of Florida and a J.D. from Stetson University.  She is active in the community and has served on the Boards of The Forum Club of the Palm Beaches, Leadership Palm Beach County, 211 Helpline and is past chair of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches.

Jason Aube is BB&T’s Market President for Palm Beach County. In 2010, he was asked to lead the newly formed South Florida Region of 70 branches as the Regional Retail Banking Manager for BB&T. In February 2013, Jason was promoted to the role of Market President for Palm Beach County. After transitioning into the role of Market President for Broward County in November 2014, he had the opportunity to return to Palm Beach County as Market President in September 2017. Jason graduated from The University of Mount Olive and has an MBA from East Carolina University. He currently serves as a Trustee of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches.

Doug is currently the Vice President and General Manager for the Palm Beach / Treasure Coast areas of Cemex where he is responsible for all facets of the business. He had been in the ready mix concrete, cement, aggregate and materials supply business for over 30 years. He began his career with Rinker Materials in 1980 and has worked for CSR Ltd, and now Cemex. He has worked throughout S. Florida and Arizona. He is a graduate of Scared Heart University and a member of various industry associations. He is past Chairman of Region Six for the Florida Concrete and Products Association, Board member for the Association of General Contractors and Executive Committee Member of the Arizona Rock Products Association. After serving a tour in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Robert went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University. He started his career in higher education as an admissions representative at South University, which is where he received his master’s degree. Robert then went on to lead a school system in Nashville that had five campuses and a growing online division. He currently serves as a Trustee of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches.

She also serves as the College's registered lobbyist and government relations director and represents the College before government entities, assists the Foundation in support of fundraising, and serves as a liaison to state and local entities. She manages the day-to-day operations, serves as project manager for many of the firm’s projects, and has managed more than 200 campaigns and clients ranging from budgets of $10,000 to $5 million. Sorrell is also the founder of MustAttend Events, Inc., an online events marketing and management software that offers deals on conferences and business, political and charitable events. She is also an adjunct professor at Palm Beach State College, where she teaches Entrepreneurship, Principles of Business and Human Relations. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Management from Florida A&M University.
