Senior Project Manager - Technical Architect / Business Development (FT for West Palm Beach, FL Office)

Do you have sound architectural / building construction expertise that’s not being adequately utilized or rewarded? GHP, an architectural, environmental, and construction services consulting firm based in Nashville, TN, is looking for a detail oriented, technically minded professional who loves solving problems while leading projects from vision to execution and business development. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager - Technical Architect / Business Development (SPMTABD) to oversee architecture and construction projects with a focus on quality, compliance, delivering results, and business development   in our West Palm Beach, Florida office. 
As a SPMTABD, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our architecture and construction projects – client engagement, planning, budgeting, execution, and close-out. You will coordinate with clients, internal teams, and outside consultants and contractors to keep projects on track and on budget. You will drive business development for this office by cultivating new client relationships, fostering existing client relationships, and expanding the project pipeline. You will also mentor junior staff and contribute to improving our processes. 
We are looking for a technical expert with strong leadership and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a Bachelor or Masters in Architecture with 8–12 years of experience in architecture or construction project management, Registered / Licensed Architect (NCARB preferred), strong technical background especially with building envelopes and code compliance, proven problem solver with excellent attention to detail, skilled in cost estimating and managing consultants/contractors, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong business development skills, and comfortable navigating regulatory processes and coordinating with external agencies. 
GHP measures success by meeting deadlines and budgets, client satisfaction and repeat work, team collaboration and mentorship, project profitability and documentation standards, and certification / License attainment and renewal. Additional information critical to the role is the applicant must have a valid U.S. driver’s license, be a U.S. citizen (we are unable to sponsor visas), and have the physical ability to inspect job sites and lift 50 lbs.

Ribbon Cuttings

Preparation

Ribbon Cutting time availabilities Monday- Thursday 9:00a.m, 12:00a.m. or 5:30p.m. at host location or area location. (Palm Beach County, FL) 1st Friday of the month 1:00p.m. after the Ambassador meeting.

Pictures are always better with a banner, or sign and designated area to set up for photography. Identify the best place for the picture in advance to ensure a smooth event.

The Chamber of Commerce Membership Services Associate will arrive 20 minutes before the start of the event with a camera, ribbon, and scissors. They will assist in choosing the best position for the photo, if necessary. The person selected to cut the ribbon will be directed and assisted as to where to stand during the picture and how to handle the scissors.

Ambassadors of the Chamber of Commerce will hold the ribbon as the ribbon is cut. Ambassadors meet and greet your guests. Photographer will prompt you when to cut the ribbon, after several photos taken of the group are posed and ready.

  • The Chamber Ambassadors can be invited to participate. Additional committees can be included as appropriate.
  • Company staff including owner, CEO, CFO, COO, management, staff and invited guests.

Food/Refreshments- Optional. Your event will be better attended with refreshment provided. The food preference and the theme for your Ribbon Cutting Ceremony is entirely up to you.

Photos will be placed on the Chamber website, launched on the Chamber’s social media platforms and forwarded to the Ribbon Cutting host.
