Job Summary

The HRIS/ERP/EMR/HCM IT Analyst will lead and support the design and functionality of HRIS/ERP/EMR/HCM IT systems, processes and related activities in collaboration with project teams.  This role will lead and/or assist the HR department with other analytical projects through researching, compiling, computing and analyzing data via a variety of external and internal resources. You will play a key role in the success and continued future processes from design through implementation and beyond.  We need your expertise for implementation, fit/gap analysis, conference room pilots, configuration, testing, training, rollout and post-implementation support of the various applications.  Your strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills (Visio, PowerPoint) will ensure your ability to provide functional knowledge and manage client relationships within context of this role. 
  • Act in a leadership role in HR system related implementations, which may include managing the project plan, status reporting to stakeholders, organizing meetings to advance projects, creating and conducting unit and user acceptance testing, developing and conducting training to impacted users and coordinating deployment strategy
  • Review, assess and make recommendations for new solutions, improvements, and/or enhancements to existing company or HR related processes and procedures via the use of technology
  • Develop, present and maintain training programs associated with assigned responsibilities or projects
Key Responsibilities
  • Documents all HR processes and consolidates for single/multi-site and global utilization
  • Develops standardized processes and obtains agreement from all HR team members on process
  • Understand client/project owner’s vision for transformation
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather requirements
  • Align business and process requirements to system capabilities documenting these formally
  • Working with wider HR team develops templates to support processes where necessary
  • Ensures accuracy of all data migrated from current HRIS to new HRIS
  • Assists will preparation of data for migration
  • Resolves any issues relating to data
  • Supports all business needs that relate to the HR system.
  • Researches and resolves HR system errors, unexpected results, or process flaws
  • Performs scheduled activities, recommended solutions, and alternate methods to meet requirements/deadlines.
  • Configures and develops new system to accommodate additional business requirements.
  • Documents all system configurations for continuity purposes.
  • Drives the implementation from inception to completion
  • Monitors and tracks progress of the implementation utilizing suitable tools
  • Develops company user guides for HR system
  • Provides training to HR system users and administrators, as needed.
  • Maintains awareness of current HR system trends with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies

  • Microsoft Word skills to include the ability to open, close, create, edit and save documents
  • Microsoft Excel skills to include the ability to create spreadsheets (e.g., formulas such as V-lookup, graphs, pivot tables)

  • Partner with users to identify and develop HR dashboards with metrics and benchmarks to assess HR and organizational issues, effectiveness and opportunities.
  • Design, document, implement and monitor advanced ad hoc and ongoing reports in HR applications that accurately reflect internal customer requirements and capture data that can be analyzed to manage business operations
  • Deploy self-service functionality to automate manual activities, improve processes and enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Demonstrates proficient knowledge of organizational business units and competitive market
  • Demonstrates proficient knowledge of measurement concepts, data collection, and analysis
  • Demonstrates understanding of HR related legislation, practices, processes, programs and technology
  • The HRIS Implementation Specialist ensures accuracy of data migrated, testing of new system, specification of reporting and identification of process improvements

  • HRIS Analyst is responsible for completing HRIS related activities including but not limited to; system configuration, data conversion, functional specifications, program and system quality testing, go-live and post go-live implementation support.
  • Develop functional specification documents for integrations between multiple applications.
    • Design, develop and support all the integrations between software applications.
    • Support efforts to automate and integrate software applications.
    • Responsible for completing HRIS/ERP related activities including but not limited to; system integration, configuration, data conversion, functional specifications, program and system quality testing, go-live and post go-live implementation support.
    • Support HR application(s) to optimize system effectiveness while improving, existing HR/PR business processes, productivity, efficiency and quality.
    • Responsible for supporting the integrity, effectiveness and efficiency of services related to HRIS.
    • Take the initiatives to prioritize and manage work while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
    • Perform testing in partnership with vendors, HR, shared services, deployment teams, IT and Security teams.
    • Responsible for efficient support, research, and resolution of talent management related cases in Helpdesk for HR. 
    • Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries to validate interfaces, talent management processes and talent data. 
    • Maintain processes, systems, procedures, logs, and materials to support all talent management program administration.
    • Work as assigned with IT on break/fix issues.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail, quality work, and customer service.
    • Responsible for tracking, testing, and implementation of changes to talent management forms, processes, applications, and interfaces.
    • Work with technical/functional teams and consultants to ensure solutions related to identified gaps are completed on time, leading to successful implementations.

Education & Experience Requirements
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, Business, or related field and a minimum of 3 years work experience with 1 of these being HR function experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in HR application support (HR Systems, Time and Attendance Systems, or Reporting and Analytics) or equivalent experience.
  • One year of experience using an HR Master Data system (e.g. SAP, Successfactors, Oracle PeopleSoft, Workday, Ultimate Software, UltiPro, ADP, Paylocity, Recruiterbox, Cornerstone OnDemand, Kronos, Taleo, Fusion, Microsoft- Office, SharePoint,  Project, & Visio, Peoplefluent, SAP HCM, Microsoft Dynamic, etc.). Experience also with AS400/Sequel/Cloud/SaaS.
    • Previous project/process design or improvement analysis skills preferred.
  • Hands-on configuration and implementation experience with various systems and integrations.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
  • Proven experience gathering requirements, and writing functional specs to develop technical solutions for systems and processes.
  • Solid understanding of core HR business practices and ability to develop solutions to technology-related business problems and opportunities.
  • Experience specifically with various vendor products, technologies and offerings; broader integration experience with various applications or modules.
