Tom Streit is a shareholder in Akerman's West Palm Beach office. Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Real Estate, Tom has practiced for more than 25 years. With most of his experience focused in commercial real estate, he has represented a number of the nation's largest banks in the closing of hundreds of multi-million dollar loans, including acquisition and development, construction, home builder, and syndicated loans. He also represents real property developers and investors in development, sales, and leasing matters for a wide range of projects. Tom has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America, the South Florida Legal Guide and by The Legal 500 US for his experience in real estate, banking, and lending. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County, the Advisory Council for the Morikami Museum and Gardens and a member of the Executive Committee for the NationalAlliance for Youth Sports.
