Hey, I’m Travis—a dedicated mental health professional here to help you slow down, unpack the heavy stuff, and find your Zen.
Through individual therapy, I use powerful techniques like:
DBT – for emotion regulation & mindfulness
CBT – to shift unhelpful thought patterns
MI – to spark real motivation for change
EMDR – to process trauma and let go of the past
Together, we’ll create a safe, calm space where you can breathe, reflect, and heal at your own pace.
What to expect from Zen Horizons Counseling Services:
Whether it’s your first session or you’re returning to therapy, here’s what you can typically expect:
1. A Safe, Confidential Space
Therapy is a judgment-free zone where you can talk openly. Everything you share stays private (with a few exceptions for safety).
2. Getting to Know You
In the first few sessions, your therapist will ask about your history, what brings you to therapy, and what your goals are. It’s a chance to build trust and connection.
3. Setting Goals
Together, you’ll create a plan tailored to your needs—whether that’s managing anxiety, healing from trauma, building better relationships, or just feeling more like yourself.
4. Your Pace, Your Process
There’s no “right way” to do therapy. Some sessions might feel emotional. Others may feel quiet and reflective. That’s all okay.
5. Progress Takes Time
Therapy is a process. Small steps add up. You don’t have to have it all figured out—you just have to show up.
