HomeSafe Receives Grant from Admirals Cove Foundation

Funding supports Healthy Beginnings program for North County families
(Lake Worth, Fla.) – Matthew Ladika, CEO of HomeSafe, announced that the nonprofit has received a first-time $9,050 grant from the Admirals Cove Foundation to support and expand its Healthy Beginnings entry agency program, which serves families with children from birth to age 5 across Palm Beach County, with enhanced outreach in Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens and Tequesta.
HomeSafe is a nationally accredited nonprofit protecting Palm Beach County’s and South Florida’s most vulnerable residents – victims of child abuse and domestic violence. Through its results-driven approach, the organization is a leading provider of prevention and intervention services, serving more than 15,000 infants, children, young adults and families each year. HomeSafe is one of just five specialized residential therapy homes in the state of Florida—the only one in Southeast Florida.
The Healthy Beginnings Entry Agency reaches approximately 3,000 Northern Palm Beach County residents annually, providing free developmental screenings, parent education and access to critical resources during the earliest—and most important—years of a child’s life.
“The first five years of life are the most critical to a child’s development, and early support can make a lasting difference in their future,” said Amanda Stone, LMHC, Chief Operating Officer of HomeSafe. “We are grateful to the Admirals Cove Foundation for investing in our Healthy Beginnings Entry Agency and helping ensure that children in our community grow up safe, healthy and ready to learn.”
HomeSafe’s multilingual team works directly with families where they already receive care, including Jupiter Medical Center, local childcare centers and community events. Through Healthy Beginnings, families receive screenings for developmental delays and behavioral concerns, along with safe sleep education and connections to vital services.
Grant funding will support the distribution of portable cribs, car seats, developmental toys, food and other baby essentials. These resources help keep children safe while building trust with families and encouraging ongoing engagement in their child’s development.
“We are proud to support HomeSafe’s work with young children and families,” said Rebecca Divine, Executive Director of the Admirals Cove Foundation. “This investment helps strengthen the foundation for lifelong health and success.”
HomeSafe partners with a network of local organizations to expand its reach and impact, including Jupiter Medical Center, El Sol, Hannah’s Home of South Florida, and the Jupiter Police Department.
