Jones Foster Shareholder Roberto M. Vargas Named HomeSafe Hero at 2026 Classic Rock and Roll Party
Roberto M. Vargas, shareholder and co-chair of the Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution team at Jones Foster, was presented the HomeSafe Hero Award at HomeSafe’s Classic Rock and Roll Party held on January 24, 2026, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The annual award celebrates supporters whose leadership and contributions have significantly advanced HomeSafe’s mission of providing support and healing for victims of child abuse and domestic violence.
“We are delighted to honor Rob Vargas as this year’s HomeSafe Hero,” said HomeSafe CEO Matthew Ladika. “His unwavering dedication, professional expertise and servant leadership strengthen our community and elevate the services HomeSafe provides to those in need.”
As President of the Board of Directors for HomeSafe, Vargas has played a pivotal role in guiding the organization’s strategic direction and strengthening its impact throughout Palm Beach County. He has provided steadfast leadership, governance, and advocacy in support of the organization’s mission to protect, heal, and empower children and families affected by abuse and trauma.
“I believe deeply in HomeSafe, its mission, its work and its people,” said Rob Vargas. “When I first toured HomeSafe, I knew immediately that I wanted to be involved. Seventeen years later, I’m incredibly proud of the campuses we’ve built, the growth of our endowment and our continued focus on supporting our staff. I am truly grateful and honored by this recognition, though recognition was never the goal, the goal has always been to serve.”
Vargas brings decades of legal experience in complex commercial litigation, business torts, real property litigation, and eminent domain, representing clients in state and federal courts across Florida. He is consistently recognized by peer-reviewed legal publications including Florida Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America, and holds an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell reflecting his high ethical standards and professional excellence. In addition to his legal practice, he is also a graduate of the Leadership Palm Beach County Engage Program, and has held leadership roles across civic and professional organizations.
