Free Event, Open to the Public on Monday, Feb. 27 starting at 6PM
West Palm Beach, FL – On Monday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m., award-winning speaker, author and mental health advocate Ross Szabo will address breaking down the stereotypes around mental health challenges  and obstacles to achieving mental health at Oxbridge Academy. The event is free and open to the public at Oxbridge Academy’s auditorium, located at 3151 North Military Trail in West Palm Beach. Space is limited; RSVP online by visiting:
In addition to the public event, Szabo will be meeting with Oxbridge students during his visit, which is sponsored by The Flawless Foundation, a national  non-profit with the mission of seeing the perfection in every person. Szabo serves on the Flawless Foundation Board of Directors.
Szabo is a social pioneer who has led the movement for youth mental health awareness. By sharing his own story of being diagnosed with bipolar disorder at the age of 16 and dealing with depression, substance use and attempted suicide, Szabo aims to make mental health an approachable topic for all audiences. His efforts have inspired millions of people to address their own mental health issues and seek help.
Szabo travels around the country sharing his motivational story with students from middle school through college to help young people understand mental health at an introductory level and identify warning signs that could help themselves or others. Szabo believes mental health is something we should all strive for and not something we should be afraid of. Further, Szabo’s program has proved widely effective in getting students to talk to their friends or parents and ultimately getting more young people to seek help.
“We are thrilled to have Ross Szabo visit Oxbridge to help the students learn about integrating brain health as part of their overall well being and understand the importance of seeking help for themselves or a friend,” said Janine Francolini, founder of The Flawless Foundation. “Ross is truly an expert at creating sustainable mental health curriculum and awareness that touches people of all ages and we are delighted to welcome him to Palm Beach County.”
“Being a part of The Flawless Foundation has been an incredible opportunity for me because of its positive message to breakdown the common perceptions of what perfection is and normalize conversations around mental wellbeing,” said Ross Szabo, CEO of The Human Power Project. “I’m particularly looking forward to this Flawless Talk because of Oxbridge Academy's philosophy of focusing on each student as an individual and its revolutionary approach to learning.”
