In this session, presented by FordHarrison, attendees will discuss the challenges and risks of having a remote workforce. These include proper payment under the Fair Labor Standards Act, tracking hours and monitoring productivity, and concerns relating to the Americans with Disabilities Act. Attendees will also review challenges with employees working multiple jobs and the new trend of “ghost employees.” Finally, the session will conclude with a discussion on best practices and the need for policy updates.
