The Acumenian Lunch & Learn: Talent Optimization, Discovering the formula to great leadership is an opportunity to exchange perspectives with leaders from different industries.
Facilitated by Myrna Malavé, we will begin by sharing common reasons why leaders struggle with their teams, such as the limited ability to ask, listen and act, low awareness of people's personalities, and lack of direction or strategy.
To maximize our impact on self and others, we will explore our motivations to behave in specific ways, how to map the different personalities in a team, and shed light on how we navigate our strengths and blindspots and continuously grow.
About Myrna Malavé:
Myrna has over 20 years of experience working in Human Resources across the US, the Caribbean, and Europe. She has supported organizations in significant change initiatives, including culture transformation, mergers & acquisitions, and cost savings organizational restructure. Her background working in multiple industries and small to big-sized companies allows her to apply her diverse experience and vision to challenges. She was the first woman to hold a Director role in a Mexico 120+-year-old company, coaching senior leaders, mobilizing key transformation initiatives, and supporting the development of a diverse talent pipeline.
She was born in Puerto Rico and lived in Mexico, the Netherlands, Texas, and Florida. She is married and has two children and a grandson.
