Description
A picture is worth a thousand words—in everyday life and in science. To understand diseases, we must learn what is going on at the individual protein level of a cell. To do this, we need images that are sharp enough to show those proteins in exquisite detail.
Dr. Stefan Hell, Nobel Laureate and director at Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences and the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research, will discuss his journey to overcome the fundamental resolution limits of light microscopy and its implications on future drug development.
