Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator / Driver (Part-Time) 

$18–$19/hour | Wednesday–Saturday | 6:30 AM – 12:00 PM

For nearly 50 years, CROS Ministries has been dedicated to feeding individuals and families facing food insecurity across Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast. Through our network of food pantries and mobile distributions, we rely on a strong team to help ensure no one in our community goes hungry. 

We’re currently seeking a dependable and mission-driven Warehouse Associate / Driver who wants more than just a job—someone who is eager to play a vital role in supporting food distribution across our service area. 

What You’ll Do 

In this hands-on role, you’ll be a key contributor to our daily operations, helping move food from donors to those who need it most. Your work will directly support our pantry network and mobile distributions.

Key Responsibilities:

 • Safely drive a box truck to pick up and deliver food donations

 • Assist with food distribution at mobile pantry sites

 • Load and unload trucks using a forklift, pallet jack, and lift gate

 • Build and prepare orders for pantry deliveries

 • Receive and organize donations

 • Build and deliver orders to food pantries

 • Support warehouse setup for volunteer groups

 • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

 • Assist with basic recordkeeping (temperature logs, inventory tracking, etc.) 

What We’re Looking For 

We’re seeking someone reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented—someone who takes pride in their work and values contributing to the community. 

Qualifications: 

 • High school diploma or GED + 5 years of related experience 

 • Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record

 • Must be 21 years of age or older

 • Recent experience driving a box truck (required)

 • Warehouse experience, including pallet jack and forklift operation (required)

 • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)

 • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

 • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills 

Nice to Have:

 • Grocery warehouse experience

 • Basic inventory management knowledge

Physical Requirements

This is an active role in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable:

 • Lifting and moving up to 60 lbs repeatedly

 • Bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching overhead

 • Working in varying temperatures and weather conditions inside and outside

 • Being on your feet and moving throughout the shift

Schedule & Benefits

 • Part-time: ~20 hours/week

 • Schedule: Wednesday–Saturday, 6:30 AM – 12:00 PM

 • Pay: $18–$19/hour 

 • Benefits:  

    o 10 vacation days/year
