The Edna W. Runner Tutorial Center Announces New Fundraiser: The 2024 Drive Shack Challenge

On Wednesday November 20th, supporters of the Edna W. Runner Tutorial Center will be putting on their golf gloves and participating in its 2024 Drive Shack Challenge, presented by GL Homes.  Located at the Drive Shack in West Palm, the fundraiser will feature food, open bar, games, silent auction, and a golf competition against County Commissioner Maria Marino.  The 2024 Drive Shack Challenge hours will be from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. 
 
“All the proceeds from this event will go directly to the Edna W. Runner Tutorial Center for programming and sending kids to camp,” Melissa Mulvaney, VP Senior Banking Advisor with PNC Private Bank and Chairperson of the 2024 Drive Shack Challenge.  “It is this sort of unique and fun event that people look forward to and will help galvanize the community to increase their support for this incredible non-profit that does so much for the West Jupiter area.” 
 
Presenting Sponsor of the 2024 Drive Shack Challenge, GL Homes, joins Velocity Community Credit Union, Tortoise Realty Company, Peacock and Lewis Architects, SDS, Lewis Longman Walker Attorneys at Law, Bulldog Construction, and Oceanic Homes in supporting this impactful event which raises funds to support local youth.  Sponsorships are still available at www.ewrunnerctr.org and Party Passes are on sale now for $100 for those who don’t play golf.
 
Each donation to the Edna W. Runner Tutorial Center is needed and helpful. For a donation of $1,250 will send one student to summer camp for nine weeks, so their hard-working parents don’t have to worry about the safety of their child. This non-profit is able to keep its costs low so that 91 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to programs and helps fill the gap left by the rising costs of quality education.
