Two Jones Foster Attorneys Elected Officers of the Federal Bar Association of Palm Beach County

Jones Foster is proud to announce that litigation attorneys Hanna B. Rubin and Lainey W. Francisco have been elected officers of the Federal Bar Association (FBA) of Palm Beach County Chapter for the 2024-2025 term.

The FBA PBC Chapter’s Induction of Officers and September Luncheon kicked off the Bar year to a sold-out crowd. Senior Judge Kenneth Marra swore in Ms. Rubin as vice president/president-elect and Ms. Francisco as treasurer of the organization during the installation ceremony, which included Judge Robin Rosenberg as a featured speaker. As officers, Ms. Rubin and Ms. Francisco will work with the executive board and the organization’s committee chairs to plan and execute events and programs for members and represent the chapter at meetings and events.

As active members of the FBA PBC, Ms. Rubin and Ms. Francisco each have held several leadership roles in the organization. Ms. Rubin previously served on the board as secretary and national delegate and Ms. Francisco has served as co-chair of the Civil Service and Outreach Committee. Ms. Rubin and Ms. Francisco also have volunteered as attorney coaches in the FBA PBC’s Civil Discourse and Difficult Decisions program, which is designed to bring high school and college students into federal courtrooms to observe, learn, and practice civil discourse and decision-making skills needed in law and in life.

The Federal Bar Association promotes the welfare, interests, education, and professional development of all attorneys involved in federal law, including private practitioners, government counsel, and members of the federal judiciary. The Palm Beach County Chapter hosts monthly luncheons, an annual judicial reception, nationally recognized civic outreach events, and various other programs, and supports volunteerism in the local community.

Hanna Rubin, a member of Jones Foster's Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution team, represents businesses, individuals, and municipalities in matters involving commercial litigation and governmental litigation. In addition to the FBA, Ms. Rubin holds leadership roles as Grant Writing Committee Chair of the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (PBC FAWL) and as a member of Kesem’s National Alumni Leadership Board. She has been recognized in The Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America, as a Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star, and on Palm Beach Illustrated’s “Top Lawyers” list.

Lainey Francisco is a member of the firm’s Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Land Use & Governmental practice groups. She represents clients in matters involving commercial litigation, governmental litigation, municipal law, land use and zoning. Ms. Francisco is actively involved in industry organizations including the Palm Beach County Bar Association, PBC FAWL, and currently serves as president-elect of the St. Lucie Bar Association. She has been selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America and on Palm Beach Illustrated’s “Top Lawyers” list.
