Webauthor Launches SAMIS 3.0 to support children and families across Florida

Since 2015, Webauthor has served as the technology partner to the Florida Children’s Council for the Services and Activities Management Information System (SAMIS).  The system is accessed and used by more than 1,200 separate organizations across Florida and increases the efficiency of the financial and program data transferred between large funders and the organizations they fund.   Each year, approximately 1,000 programs are administered, and more than $400 million dollars, are processed through SAMIS.

Webauthor recently launched SAMIS 3.0, the latest iteration of the technology platform.   Michele Watson, CEO of the Florida Children’s Council stated:
SAMIS 3.0 offers Collaborative members a fast and efficient way to support the approximately 300,000 children and families they serve. The system is key in collecting data-driven outcomes that support continued substantial investments for comprehensive services in Florida’s CSC communities. The Florida Children’s Council is excited about the growth of SAMIS and looks forward to continuing our innovative work with Webauthor and the SAMIS Collaborative.
