About Sue Ellen Beryl 
Sue Ellen Beryl is Managing Director and co-founder of Palm Beach Dramaworks. Her career in theatrical management includes Managing Director of the Schimmel Center for the Arts, and Publicity Director for Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival.  In addition, her business experience includes 10 years in the New York advertising industry and several years managing a family-owned business on the New York Commodity Exchange.  Organizational community service includes the County Cultural Council for the Palm Beaches, the Town of Palm Beach United Way, and serving as a National Ambassador for the Actors? Fund.

In this heartfelt and heartbreaking work set at the turn of the 20th century, Esther is a 35-year-old African-American seamstress of exquisite intimate apparel who aches to love and be loved.
