- Grantmaking from Donor Advised Funds- Vicki Pugh, Vice President for Philanthropic Giving
Kasie Merical serves the Community Foundation's family foundation funds and nonprofit fund holders with all their philanthropic needs. Whether it is building training opportunities for local for-impact organizations, guiding fund holders through unique giving strategies, or managing the details of an intricate grant cycle. Kasie is always looking to make philanthropy an easy and joyful experience. In her time with Community Foundations, she has managed a variety of programs to better acquaint her with departmental needs and perspectives. You can find Kasie exploring Florida by foot, kayak or bike if she isn't at her desk building a grant process or on a site visit with a philanthropist in her local community.
Vicki Pugh has dedicated her life's work to bettering her community by advancing the mission of nonprofit organizations in Florida and New York City, including the New York City Opera, Carnegie Hall, Ballet Florida, YMCA of South Palm Beach County, Volusia Flagler Family YMCA, Palm Beach Atlantic University, and Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties. Her expertise includes organizational management, board development, strategic planning, campaign design and implementation, innovative programming, major gift acquisition, planned giving, event organization, and grant writing. She is a faculty member of The Fund Raising School at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and serves on the leadership council of Philanthropy Tank and the Board of Directors of the We Are Dwyer Foundation.
Eric Aquino has been with the Community Foundation since 2018 and oversees the Post-Secondary & Career Pathways grant focus area. He also helps manage the Scholarship program for the foundation which awards over $1 million annually to students across Palm Beach and Martin Counties.
