The Women’s Leadership Committee includes women-owned businesses, female entrepreneurs, and female leaders in the community.
Committee Purpose
The Women’s Leadership Committee inspire each other to build their business contacts and create opportunities amongst one another. This committee focuses on female entrepreneurialism in the community. One of the committee’s signature events, the ATHENA Leadership Award Luncheon, is hosted annually in the month of September and recognizes female leadership.

Stephanie Slater Goldfuss is the Director of Communications at Lesser, Landy, Smith & Siegel, PLLC, a third-generation personal injury law firm in West Palm Beach, Florida. Before joining the firm in 2022, she spent 15 years as the Public Information Officer for the Boynton Beach Police Department, where she served as spokesperson, community engagement liaison, and strategic advisor to the Chief of Police. A nationally recognized media training consultant, Stephanie has taught crisis communication and public relations best practices to law enforcement professionals for over a decade. She serves on the Board of Governors for Leadership Palm Beach County, the Board of Directors for the Andrea C. Cameron Foundation, and co-chairs the Women United Steering Committee for the United Way of Palm Beach County. Stephanie is a graduate of Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and a former reporter for The Boca News and The Palm Beach Post.

Lisa brings 25 years of experience in innovating transportation, land use, and mobility planning at the national, regional, and local levels. She is an industry leader in future-forward urban and transportation planning, and serves on numerous committees and boards crafting policy and publications on a wide range of topics such as scenario planning and digital twins in urban design. At WGI she leads development of next generation planning, smart city technology strategies, emerging mobility, autonomous vehicles in transit, and integrated placemaking. In 2025, she gave a TEDx talk new mobility, and is currently co-authoring a book on Complete Streets for the American Planning Association and. When not working, she’s often on a bike ride along A1A.
