Thomas Chmielewski graduated from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in 2019 with a Bachelor of Urban Design. With a minor in architectural studies, Thomas also has a practical understanding of how building design affects urban design principles.

Thomas previously studied drafting through high school and interned with a local engineering firm where he developed his proficiency in AutoCAD. During college, Thomas worked in the real estate sector in his hometown of Boca Raton, FL. Thomas is eager to implement the theory and practical experience he has attained to improve the quality of our physical environment through sustainable urban design.

Bryan Donahue is a professional landscape architect (PLA) who graduated from the University of Georgia, College of Environment & Design with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. He is passionate about the profession and strives to design spaces that create meaningful experiences and leave lasting impressions for his clients.

Bryan has 15 years of experience in South Florida completing landscape architecture and land planning projects across various sectors including commercial developments, neighborhoods, country clubs, multi-family housing, condominiums, and single-family residences.

Alexa is our newest recruit—graduating from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) with a Bachelor of Urban Design in 2021 before gaining experience as a designer and project coordinator on numerous upscale residential projects with a local landscape architecture firm.

Alexa is interested in all aspects of landscape architecture but is particularly focused on urban design that provides a positive and sustainable balance between the built and natural environment.

Outside of work, Alexa loves to collect sneakers, attend music concerts, and spend time with her Boston Terrier pup.

Jack Goodman is our part-time intern originally from the west coast of Florida. He is currently a junior at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) seeking a bachelor's of Urban and Regional Planning. During his ongoing internship at Insite Studio, Jack is hoping to gain professional skills in creative programming, specifically AutoCAD. 

Jack is perfectly suited to the Florida lifestyle—he loves the outdoors, and spends most of his leisure time hiking and fishing.

Rubi Guimaraes is an urban designer who was recently recognized with an Honor Award for Academic Achievement by the Connecticut American Society of Landscape Architects. Rubi graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Landscape Architecture in 2017. He discovered his penchant for landscape architecture after receiving an Associate in Science degree (A.S.) in Architectural Design Technology, and a Certificate in Sustainable Facilities Management from Three Rivers Community College, Connecticut.

Rubi is originally from Brazil, but joined Insite Studio after working in Long Island, New York and Fairfield, Connecticut facilitating luxury residential design and construction in the urban environment.

Zach Kepler is our newest intern from Florida Atlantic University (FAU). He is studying Urban and Regional Planning with plans to graduate in the spring of 2022. Before attending FAU, Zach obtained his Associate in Arts (AA) degree from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2020.

Zach has been awarded certifications in Autodesk Inventor, Mastercam, AutoCAD, Microsoft and Internet Web Business and enjoys utilizing AutoCAD to design floor and site plans, and 3D modeling.

Zach lives in Loxahatchee and is an avid car enthusiast who appreciates the inner mechanics and workings of computers and vehicles.

Paula Miller is an administrative professional with over 20 years of experience in the architecture and engineering sector. With her comprehensive background in operational supervision, she is well versed in all aspects of office management and project coordination. Paula displays a thorough precision when executing tasks and an extensive knowledge of the local Palm Beach County development processes —She is in her element working at Insite Studio.

Paula loves to immerse herself in creative pursuits and travel the globe when she is not enjoying time at home with her husband and two sons (and don’t forget her two fur babies).

South Florida native, Edwin joins Insite Studio with over a decade of professional planning experience in land planning and real estate development. He has a broad skillset in pre-acquisition due diligence and feasibility, conceptual site planning and preliminary engineering, entitlements, and site approvals.

He received his Master’s in Urban Planning from the University of Illinois in 2015 and his Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning from Florida Atlantic University in 2012. He is an active member of multiple organizations including Leadership Palm Beach County, Palm Beach County Planning Congress, and Congress for New Urbanism.

Nic Murray is our marketing and graphic design professional with over twenty years of experience in the consulting, non-profit, private and government sectors. She received her Bachelor of Design and Master of Marketing in Australia from the University of New South Wales in 1999 and Monash University in 2005.

Most recently, Nic was an Adjunct Marketing Professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach. Before moving to the USA in 2015 she specialized in the magazine and book publishing industry in Australia, marketing titles for Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. She has a keen interest in her downtown community and has served on the City of West Palm Beach Mandel Public Library Advisory Board since 2020.

After graduating from Rutgers University, the State University of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture, Austin relocated to Central Florida to hone his landscaping and design skills for Disney Design and Engineering and Disney Horticulture. In 2016 he moved to West Palm Beach where he worked on various landscape architecture projects in the commercial, multi-family, neighborhood, and luxury residential sectors and gained his Professional Landscape Architecture (PLA) license.

While he is not designing innovative outdoor spaces at work, Austin grows exotic plant species and designs green-wall systems for a boutique clientele and enjoys golfing.

Camille Swanson is an urban planner and received her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Science from Florida State University in 2010. She continued her education with a Master’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning from Florida Atlantic University in 2013. After graduating, Camille worked with a national planning and design engineering consultancy in South Florida. She completed transportation and land planning projects in the commercial, residential, and civic sectors, and acquired extensive knowledge of local development processes.  

Camille is passionate about cohesively merging the fields of urban design and city growth with the natural environment—creating the ultimate sustainable development. 

Brian Terry is a professional landscape architect (PLA) with over 22 years of design and consulting experience. He received his Bachelor of Science (BS) in Landscape Architecture at the University of Kentucky, and has worked across all major sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, civic, education, government and healthcare, providing expertise within the development industry. 

Brian has built a solid reputation for helping his clients through the design and construction of complicated land development and planning projects. His specialties include master planning, site development, land use and zoning representation as well as project management.

Jake Treadway graduated from The Ohio State University in 2020, with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture. He spent the first three years of his professional career working in the high-end residential sector as a designer and project coordinator in southeast Florida.

Jake enjoys the process of 3D modeling and rendering residential garden design. In his spare time he collects rare plants, and master plans his next camping and hiking adventure to tick off every national park in the country.
