Our mission at Jumpseat Coaching is to help end the shame, stigma, and judgment associated with struggling to change Gray Area Drinking.
During my 20+ years as a Flight Attendant, I found most people want to make some kind of positive change in their life. Eat better, workout more, reduce stress, spend less, drink less alcohol, watch less TV, improve their health, etc.
The challenge is the painful gap between where a person is and where they want to be. When we don't "do" the things we know will help us get to where we want to be, we are conditioned to blame ourselves. All the "should" stories start popping up in our heads. We internalize the "it's my fault" belief.
The truth is, it's not a "you" problem, it's simply an approach problem.
At Jumpseat Coaching, we focus on letting go of blame and put the focus on discovering what you actually craving. When you start the change process focusing on what's underneath the craving, solve for the true issue, then exiting the drinking life is lasting and less challenging.
The EXIT Methodology is based upon human psychology, science, and working with our brains' natural tendencies.
I created this because I found myself stuck in the shame, blame, and judgment cycle over my alcohol consumption. I was trapped in the gray area feeling like I had no place to turn for help.
