In the late 1970s, Strategic’s founder, Alan Leist Jr., recognized an opportunity to redefine the investment management industry by offering the highest level of quality and service to clients.

The firm’s focus on long-term goal-based investing and financial planning set what is now the industry’s standard of excellence and established Strategic as one of the first true ‘Wealth Managers’. That unique approach drove growth at the firm one relationship at a time through client and professional referrals.
