About Us
Young Singers of the Palm Beaches (YSPB) is a dynamic and inspiring community-based children's choir that has been igniting the passion of young musicians for two decades. Through its commitment to excellence in choral education, the organization has provided thousands of children with the opportunity to discover their voice and explore the world of choral music. In addition to high quality music education, we provide professional performance opportunities. We teach life skills through music; giving children an atmosphere of artistic excellence in which they develop teamwork and leadership skills, form supportive friendships, and serve as ambassadors in their community.
Recent events have highlighted the role of music in helping people connect and maintain their physical and mental health. Here are just a few of our accomplishments:
• Our 375 singers in 2nd through 12th grade performed at 40 events to an in-person audience of over 25,000.
• An ensemble of 100 middle and high school singers were highlighted as the spotlight choir for the National Youth Chorus at Carnegie Hall on June 8, 2024
• Young Singers of the Palm Beaches received Nonprofits First’s inaugural “Art and Culture Impact Award”
• We provided over 150 financially needy children tuition scholarships totaling more than $86,000.
• YSPB afterschool choirs provided music lessons to almost 3,000 students primarily from Title 1 schools.
• The Palm Beach Symphony’s “The Shoe Bird,” featuring a YSPB ensemble, reached over 15 million households nationally on PBS and was nominated for two Suncoast Emmys.
