About Us

Mental Health America of the Palm Beaches is the local affiliate of Mental Health America, one of the nation’s oldest and most respected mental health organizations, founded in 1909 to advocate for humane care and dignity for people living with mental illness.

We support individuals facing significant mental health challenges by providing socially connected, welcoming environments where people build relationships, develop skills, and rediscover purpose and meaning. This community-based approach helps people stay well, reduces isolation, and prevents costly and traumatic psychiatric rehospitalizations.

With locations in downtown West Palm Beach and Belle Glade, our work also strengthens the local workforce by helping individuals regain stability and re-engage in employment, benefiting employers, families, and the broader Palm Beach County economy.
