2025 Property Tax Season Begins November 1

2025 Property Tax Season Begins November 1
Tax Collector Gannon Announces Property Tax Bills Are in the Mail

West Palm Beach, Fla. Constitutional Tax Collector Anne M. Gannon announced today the start of the 2025 Property Tax season with approximately 620,972 property tax bills being mailed to property owners throughout Palm Beach County. More than $6.197 billion is expected to be collected this year.  This local revenue will be used to fund critical county and municipal public services, such as the school district, sheriff’s office, healthcare, parks, fire rescue and libraries.

While tax payments are due by March 31, 2026, taxpayers are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the discounts by paying early.  “More than 70% of Palm Beach County tax bills are paid by November 30, taking advantage of the 4% discount offered that month,” says Gannon. “The discount reduces to 3% in December, 2% in January and 1% in February. There is no discount if you wait and pay your taxes by the March 31 deadline.  Keep in mind that taxes become delinquent April 1 if not paid by the March 31 deadline.”
