Jones Foster’s Genny Bernstein Appointed Committee Chair of Jewish Lawyers Association of Palm Beach County

Jones Foster, a commercial and private client law firm with offices in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, and Jupiter, is pleased to announce that shareholder Genny Bernstein has been appointed Sponsorship Committee Chair of the Jewish Lawyers Association of Palm Beach County (JLA PBC) for the 2025-2026 term.

In this role, Ms. Bernstein will lead efforts to build relationships with law firms, businesses, and community partners by developing sponsorship opportunities and fostering meaningful engagement with sponsors to support and expand the Association’s events, member initiatives, and outreach. Jones Foster is a proud annual sponsor of the Jewish Lawyers Association.

Ms. Bernstein's appointment follows the Association’s inaugural year, during which she was installed as a founding member of the board of directors. JLA PBC was established in 2024 to bring together Jewish attorneys, judges, and their allies in a shared mission of promoting and educating about Jewish cultural heritage, protecting members’ common interests, and standing up to antisemitism and intolerance. The organization has quickly become a valuable forum for networking, education, and advocacy in the local legal community.

Genny Bernstein is a Florida Bar Board Certified specialist in Elder Law and a member of Jones Foster's Private Wealth, Wills, Trusts & Estates team. She focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning, wills and trusts, guardianships, special needs trusts, veteran benefits, and asset planning and protection for Medicaid to assist in obtaining benefits for home care, assisted living, or skilled nursing facilities. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court and Florida Courts and is an Accredited Attorney for claims, preparation, presentation and prosecution with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Ms. Bernstein is a regular speaker on the topics of elder law, estate planning, and Medicaid and veterans benefits at public and private events, workshops, healthcare fairs, and seminars throughout Palm Beach, Martin, and St. Lucie Counties. She is actively involved in several industry organizations, including as chair of The Florida Bar Elder Law Section Publication Committee and editor of its newsletter, The Advocate, as well as co-chair of the Florida Elder Law Attorneys' (AFELA) Unprogram CLE.

Ms. Bernstein is consistently selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in AmericaFlorida Super Lawyers, and Palm Beach Illustrated’s “Top Lawyers” and was recognized by The Florida Bar Elder Law Section as a 2020 Member of the Year.
