Putting The Child Back In Childhood

PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 27 May 2025

RIBBON CUTTING for Children’s Rainbow Fund in WPB

The Children’s Rainbow Fund, a 501(c)(3) in West Palm Beach, hosts THE CHAMBER of Palm Beach County for a ribbon cutting ceremony with WPB City Officials in attendance at its Rhythm&Hues 7725 S Dixie Highway location this FRIDAY, May 30, 2025 from noon to 2pm.

After eight inspiring years of bringing art, music and joy to the City of West Palm Beach with FREE community events such as the annual Rainbow Palooza festival, art in the park, Breakfast On The Farm, weekly programming on Clematis at the Mandel Library - Rhythm&Hues, The Happiness Brand, is thrilled to celebrate a new chapter - our very first year as an official 501(c)(3) with the establishment of The Children's Rainbow Fund!

The new charity proudly serves as a beacon of happiness and hope, championing the well-being of children and families through joyful experiences and uplifting programs. The Children’s Rainbow Fund seeks “to put the child back in childhood” and provide a space where both the children and their parents, or caretakers, can disconnect from everyday worries, find resources, purpose, enrichment, and simple joy.
For this purpose it wants to open a larger center, perhaps on North Dixie or Broadway, just north of the north-bridge to Palm Beach island, as a hub for parents and all children from the adjacent communities and neighborhoods in addition to its south-end Rhythm&Hues Center.

The Rainbow itself is a bridge.

This, in addition to its various itinerant festivals and activities offered at community centers, libraries, malls, and parks around the county The Children’s Rainbow Fund engages teens as volunteers and interns “because in making others happy, one can find happiness too”.
It’s known that having a sense of purpose is one of the biggest deterrents of Child Suicide, which is the cause in focus this year for the new charity and our sixth annual Festival of Kindness in West Palm Beach: Rainbow Palooza, later in September 2025.  Together let’s ELIMINATE suicide as the number #2 killer of our nations children.

Join us as we cut the ribbon on a legacy of childhood in our colorful community while learning how you can help!
