Quantum Foundation Awards $1.4M to Strengthen Community Health in Palm Beach County

Quantum Foundation Awards $1.4 Million in Q3 and Q4 2025 Grants to Strengthen Community Health Across Palm Beach County
Twenty grants support organizations advancing health equity, early learning, food security and economic stability

(WEST PALM BEACH, FLA) – Quantum Foundation awarded a total of $1,406,587 in grants during the third and fourth quarters of 2025, supporting 20 nonprofit organizations working to improve community health and well-being across Palm Beach County. Every dollar awarded serves Palm Beach County residents, reinforcing the foundation’s long-standing commitment to strengthening local communities.

Among the Q4 grant recipients is the YMCA of the Palm Beaches, which received a $150,000 grant in support of its Growing Together, Expanding Possibilities capital campaign. The funding will help establish a Teaching Kitchen and Food Pantry at the YMCA’s new Lake Lytal facility, expanding access to nutrition education, healthy food and wellness programming for families in Central Palm Beach County.

“Quantum Foundation’s support is a game changer for our community. This grant allows us to expand access to nutritious food and hands-on wellness education at our new Lake Lytal facility, something we simply could not do at this scale without their partnership. Together, we’re moving the needle on nutrition education and community health,” said Tim Coffield, President and CEO, YMCA of the Palm Beaches.

A private health foundation dedicated to inspiring and funding initiatives that improve the health of Palm Beach County residents, Quantum Foundation was established with $125 million in proceeds from the sale of JFK Medical Center. Now in its third decade of community investment, the foundation manages assets of approximately $170 million and has awarded more than $184 million to hundreds of Palm Beach County nonprofit organizations since its inception.
