About

The Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission (FTC) is the official agency responsible for marketing Palm Beach County as a world-class destination for film, television, and digital production. For nearly four decades, the FTC has attracted and supported productions that boost business tourism and generate significant economic impact, over $4.3 billion to date. Providing expert guidance from permitting to public safety coordination, the FTC ensures every production runs smoothly and in full compliance with local regulations. The Commission also manages The Palm Beaches TV (PBTV), the County’s official tourism television channel funded by the Tourist Development Council. Available in more than 4,000 hotel rooms across Palm Beach County, including premier properties such as The Breakers, PGA National Resort, The Boca Raton, and The Seagate Hotel & Spa, PBTV delivers over 140 hours of original programming that highlights the destination’s vibrant culinary culture, coastal lifestyle, and signature experiences. Education and talent development are also key priorities. For more than 30 years, the FTC’s cornerstone education initiative, The Palm Beaches Student Showcase of Films (SSOF), has celebrated creativity and innovation as Florida’s largest student film competition and award show, granting over $4.5 million in scholarships, cash, and prizes to empower emerging filmmakers and inspire the next generation of Florida storytellers.
