After coming to the United States, Smith pursued higher education in Palm Beach County, earning an Associate of Science in Hospitality from Palm Beach State College. His hospitality background instilled the importance of customer service, professionalism, and building meaningful client relationships — values that shape how he does business today, always placing people first.

Smith later earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University, developing strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills while deepening his understanding of community, public policy, and economic opportunity.
