From extravagant Mother’s Day celebrations and hurricane preparedness fairs to high-octane Zumba dance parties and sports celebrity signings, there is something special for everyone at Wellington’s favorite mall.

The Mall at Wellington Green and The Village of Wellington are pleased to co-host the 2^nd Annual Hurricane Expo. In preparation for hurricane season, the Mall and the Village will bring in numerous vendors and speakers, including WPBF 25 meteorologist Glenn Glazer, to help educate and inform the community about hurricane preparedness. The Expo will also include a raffle for a true hurricane must-have: a generator. Plus, families can enjoy a special ‘Kids Corner,’ featuring Superhero characters, face painting and crafts, a bounce house, and fun swag.

Fashion show highlights will include clothing and accessories from mall retailers, including Dillard’s, Tommy Bahama, Versona and more, modeled by local mothers and their children.

Eco Explorers Science Workshop: Build Your Wild World

The Palm Beach Museum of Natural History will host a STEAM-based Eco Explorers Science Workshop: Build Your Wild World. Participants will explore ecosystems and food webs, examining how these concepts connect the past and present. Children will sculpt an animal of their choice (modern or prehistoric) and create a diorama of its ideal habitat to take home. Light bites will be provided. Cost: $30 per child.
